About
6Fest is Bulgaria's first independent festival dedicated to performing street arts, including contemporary circus, puppet theatre, living statues, fire arts, stilts, street magic, historical reenactments, dance and music. Centred in Plovdiv, with editions also held in other Bulgarian cities, the festival brings together multidisciplinary events with international artists selected through an open call, promoting carnival and street arts in Bulgaria and supporting professional street artists' relationships with audiences. The festival has been part of the official Cultural Events Calendar of the Municipality of Plovdiv and was included in the programme of Plovdiv as European Capital of Culture.
