About
ATOLL Festival is Germany's foremost contemporary circus festival, established in 2016 and held annually each September at Tollhaus Karlsruhe. Over ten days, the festival presents approximately 20 contemporary circus productions from across Europe and beyond, featuring a diverse range of disciplines including acrobatics, juggling, rope arts, and dance. Known for platforming nouveau cirque and the latest artistic creations alongside work-in-progress performances, ATOLL has earned Europe-wide recognition as one of the first and largest dedicated contemporary circus festivals in Germany. The festival serves a broad general audience including families and professionals, with performances suitable for adults and children across multiple venues within and around Tollhaus.
