About
Founded in 1986 and deliberately situated in a rural setting, this festival has established itself as one of France's main live performance events and the most significant international street arts festival. Known for its remarkable attendance and generational and social diversity, the festival transforms Aurillac's streets and squares into performance spaces for street artists from around the world, attracting approximately 140,000 spectators. The event features an official program of about twenty companies alongside the "Rendez-vous des compagnies de passage," a gathering facilitating participation of over 600 street artists. The festival regularly spotlights international creation through thematic focuses.
