About
Buskers Chur is an international street arts festival transforming Chur's historic Altstadt into a vibrant cultural venue over two days each June. Over 70 international street artists from 20 nations present more than 200 performances spanning music, circus, theater, comedy, dance, magic and artistry. The festival operates on a unique pay-what-you-can model: entry is free but visitors purchase wristbands (CHF 5-20) with funds supporting artist travel and accommodation, while artists earn tips via hat-passing. Founded in 2016, it has grown into a beloved regional event serving all ages, supported by roughly 200 volunteers. The festival celebrates contemporary street art with half musical and half visual performances, complemented by street food vendors.
