About
Buskers Fest is an annual street arts festival held in June in the historic centre of České Budějovice, Czech Republic. It presents musicians, theatre performers, jugglers, poets and other artists from the Czech Republic and abroad, who perform throughout the city's streets and squares. The programme includes music and theatre performances, art presentations, poetry readings, and art workshops and shows for children and parents. The organisers describe it as the first festival of its kind in the Czech Republic, inspired by street festivals in cities such as Bern, Ferrara and Toronto. It is organised by the association HUKOT CB.
