Canterbury Festival takes place each October for a two-week extravaganza of music, performance, talks, family events, science and more in the heart of Kent, England. Each year the programme offers unique experiences from the quirky to the sublime, aiming to bring together the people of Kent for a celebration of creativity through theatre, classical music, jazz, circus, cabaret, lectures, family shows, author talks, science lectures and community events. Festival events pop up across the city at venues including Canterbury Cathedral and other historic locations, with activities also taking place throughout the year.
