International festival of new circus and street theatre CIRKULUM is one of the biggest festivals of this kind in the Czech Republic, held in Ostrava-Poruba, a city known for its unusual SORELA architecture, which turns into a multicultural, colourful, vibrant boulevard full of street artists, dancers, musicians, giant puppets and performances during the festival. CIRKULUM typically runs with outdoor and indoor stages, with outdoor performances free of charge and indoor shows available for a small fee, inviting artists from around the world and offering something for visitors of all ages.
