About
Cserje Feszt (Cserje Fest), also known as the Cserje Memorial Festival, is held in Terény, Hungary, in memory of theatre figure Zsuzsa Cserje. Centred on community and remembrance, the festival brings together Cserje's friends and former colleagues, who present theatrical productions alongside children's and youth programmes, movement workshops and communal gatherings. The festival takes place in the garden of the Mushroom Museum founded by Zsuzsa Cserje, combining theatre performances with food traditions linked to the villagers and to Cserje herself. It serves as a small-scale, intimate meeting point for a village community and visiting audiences.
