About
Culturecrash, also known as Kulturkræsj, is a street festival that started in 2015 as the Norwegian International Culture Festival in Sandefjord, Norway, beginning with indoor events before establishing an outdoor street festival in the city's Kongensgate. The festival includes its own cultural workshop programme with music, art and experiences for nurseries and schools in the lead-up to the main event. Organised jointly by local associations, cultural workers and volunteers in Sandefjord, the alcohol-free street festival is open to families, children and the general public, blending music, art, food, craft and activities from around the world as a shared meeting place for the local community.
