About
Dance Fest is a contemporary dance festival in Macedonia that serves as a bridge between local and international artists. Founded in 2005 and led by artistic directors including Risima Risimkin and later Matea Mijanovikj, the festival is known for its program quality and mission to foster connections among artists from different countries and cultures. It provides opportunities for artistic collaboration and bi-directional long-lasting relationships in dance, hosting performances at multiple venues across Skopje and other cities including the Macedonian National Theatre, Macedonian Opera and Ballet, and theaters in Veles, Bitola, and Shtip.
