About
DanzEstate is a dance and theatre festival held each June in the Giardini Pubblici of Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, transforming a public park into an immersive world for five days. Each edition develops around a new theme reflected in sets, costumes and a curated soundscape. The programme focuses primarily on dance and dance-theatre performances for children, hosting international companies alongside Sardinian artists, and includes a wide range of educational workshops in dance, theatre, music, set design and costume design, often culminating in short group performances created by participants.
