About
A summer music festival held in villages across Corsica, particularly in Figarella, a small village in Cap Corse. Founded in 2019, the festival gathers classical, chamber, and traditional musicians from the island, the Mediterranean, and Europe to create dialogue between different musical traditions, eras, and cultures. Concerts take place in churches, courtyards, convents, and gardens throughout locations including Figarella, Corte, Bastia, and Balagne. The festival celebrates connections between ancient and contemporary music, scholarly and oral traditions, and increasingly incorporates dance and theatre. It features an ambitious educational program with school workshops and musician encounters designed to engage children and young audiences in direct musical experience and discovery.
