Festival Territorio Violeta
Madrid, Spain
About
Festival Territorio Violeta is a multidisciplinary festival held in Madrid, Spain, that focuses on the performing arts in favour of equality. Violet has long been the colour of feminism, chosen to represent a commonplace of equality using the symbology that associates pink with women and blue with men, mixing both colours into violet. As a festival of fairs and diversity, it uses these privileged exhibition spaces to reward productions that make visible the journey society must make to achieve gender equality.
