Ljubljana, Slovenia
Founded in 2015 in Ljubljana by actor and director Robert Waltl, the festival explores critical social issues such as xenophobia, homophobia, antisemitism, anti-migrant policies, racism, and hate speech through diverse artistic programs. While film serves as the primary medium, the program includes theatre, exhibitions, concerts, lectures, literary evenings, and roundtable discussions. The festival emphasizes culture of remembrance and education of young audiences. The film program screens approximately 15 films annually across various genres addressing tolerance themes, followed by discussions with guest artists. An educational morning program designed for pupils, high school, and university students offers screenings and interactive discussions. Additional artistic programs including theatre, exhibitions, concerts, and literary evenings highlight the importance of tolerance. All programs are free of charge.
