About
IRA Festival is an international contemporary performing arts festival based in Soverato, Italy, created to invest in emerging artists and support their international visibility. The project brings national and international dance, performance and theatre productions to the stage, with a particular focus on introducing new trends in contemporary performing arts to audiences in Southern Italy. Alongside its public performance programme, IRA Festival runs year-round artist residencies supporting the development of new choreographic work, which is presented to an audience of international artistic directors and producers. The festival positions itself as a networking platform connecting artists, curators and institutions across regional, national and international contexts.
