About
Kilowatt Festival is an international multidisciplinary festival dedicated to contemporary art, held each summer in Sansepolcro, Tuscany, Italy, since 2003. The programme spans theatre, dance, circus, music, visual arts and multimedia, under the direction of Lucia Franchi and Luca Ricci. Since 2007, the festival has run the "Visionari" participatory artistic direction programme, which has become a reference model across Europe for engaging a diverse local audience in the festival's curatorial process.
