About
LIFE is ZONA K's festival positioned at the intersection of theatre, art, and media to stimulate reflection on the present through multiple narratives. The festival brings together documentary approaches in distant yet similar languages, informing audiences and unveiling the complexity of today. It adopts diverse formats including performances, participatory experiences, visual art installations, photography exhibitions, cinema, and talks. LIFE proposes theatre that observes and interprets the present through real data, combining performance, visual art, cinema, journalism, science, and research. The festival investigates the relationship with reality, remixing narratives and languages while examining the grey areas of narrative, manipulation of reality perception, and public opinion construction. Named after the influential American photojournalism magazine, LIFE serves as a meeting place and laboratory where artists, journalists, activists, and the public confront present challenges
