About
MU. Festival is an intensive contemporary dance festival held in Monesiglio, Italy, with a particular focus on floorwork, partnering and improvisation techniques. The programme combines technique, research and composition over several days of lessons, led by resident teachers alongside an invited international guest teacher each year. Alongside its training programme, the festival includes public events designed to connect communities, artists and the local area, such as open-door lessons, a travelling street performance, and jam sessions combining music, dance and nature. Rooted in values of respect, inclusion, equality and collaboration, MU. aims to build an intercultural meeting point for dancers and artists from different countries.
