Narzissenzauber

Bad Aussee, Austria

About

Narzissenzauber is an international street arts and magic programme held in the Austrian spa town of Bad Aussee, in the Ausseerland region of Styria. It runs as part of the Narzissenfest, the annual spring flower and folk festival of the Ausseerland, which has been held since 1960 and is known for its large figures made of narcissus blossoms. International street performers have accompanied the festival since 2022. It is organised by the Magischer Ring Austria in cooperation with the Narzissenfestverein. The programme is performed in the Kurpark of Bad Aussee and is aimed at the general festival public. It mixes street theatre, magic, circus skills, variety and wandering characters, with artists drawn from several European and Latin American countries. Performances are presented alongside the traditional events of the Narzissenfest.
