Nouvelle Senne

About

A festival celebrating the new wave of Belgian theater, showcasing emerging artists from Belgian conservatories and arts schools. The festival presents eight productions highlighting contemporary works that address social issues including discrimination, mental health, family dynamics, and violence. The program includes award-winning shows from international festivals and Prix PlayRight recipients. The festival also features experimental "LABO" spaces where young artists present early-stage creations through readings, exhibitions, and immersive performances, fostering an inclusive environment for artistic experimentation and exchange.
