Pagliacce Festival is an international clown and performing arts festival based in Turin, Italy, focused on the intergenerational and intercultural exchange between clown artists from different countries and local contexts. The festival brings together established practitioners and emerging generations through workshops, residencies and public discussions exploring the relationship between clowning, community and social transformation, including themes such as gender equality and accessibility. Pagliacce works with schools and with local organisations supporting people with cognitive disabilities, deaf communities and migrant families, using the universal language of clowning as a tool for inclusion, dialogue and collective encounter.
