About
Púca Festival returns each Halloween season to County Meath, Ireland, celebrating Ireland as the birthplace of Halloween through an authentic, immersive and otherworldly experience. Vibrant, fun and contemporary in feel but strongly rooted in tradition, the festival takes place across festival hubs in Trim and Athboy, working in partnership with Irish artists, seanchaí storytellers and the local community to showcase the best in contemporary Irish music, spectacle and performance over a week in Ireland's Ancient East. Developed by Fáilte Ireland, the National Tourism Development Authority of Ireland, in partnership with Meath County Council, the festival celebrates Ireland as the birthplace of Halloween and tells the origin story of Samhain, or "Summer's End".
