RADICI Festival
Sirolo, Italy
About
RADICI Festival is held at Teatro Cortesi in Sirolo and features contemporary performing arts with reinterpretations of classical myths through theatre, music and performance. The festival creates dialogue between ancient narratives and contemporary artistic languages, transforming the theatre into a space for encounter, reflection and shared experience. The program explores themes of prophecy, transformation, identity and travel through multidisciplinary performances combining theatre, electronic music, physical performance and contemporary dramaturgy. Featured works include sound rituals inspired by classical figures, investigations of mythological transformation, contemporary adaptations of classical comedies, and playful explorations of classical mythology. RADICI Festival promotes theatre as an accessible and collective experience, connecting contemporary artistic research with Mediterranean cultural heritage.
