Suq Festival takes place in Genoa's Old Port and other city venues, featuring the Teatro del Dialogo review with nine shows dedicated to cultural dialogue that blend prose, music, and images. The festival includes a Mediterranean bazaar atmosphere with diverse cuisines from Indian, Arab, Southeast Asian, Mexican, Northern European, Senegalese, Nigerian, Persian, Lebanese, Syrian, South American traditions, plus vegan options and Syrian sweets, Arabic coffee and tea. Programming covers discussions on peace, refugees, migration, women's rights, and borders, alongside an Ecosuq Review focused on environmental themes. Musical concerts and cooking demonstrations with Chef Kumalé are featured. Events are free except for theatre performances. The festival operates daily from 4:00 p.m. to midnight and is supported by the Italian National Commission for UNESCO and the Ministry for the Environment and Energy Security.
