TACT Festival
Trieste, Italy
About
TACT Festival is an international performing arts festival that transforms a different district of Trieste, Italy, into a living stage each year for theatre, music, circus and multimedia projects. Created by Centro Universitario Teatrale APS in collaboration with Hangar Teatri, it is the city's only event entirely dedicated to live performance in public spaces. Each edition activates a different neighbourhood through free programming, including shows, concerts, exhibitions and workshops, built through a participatory co-design process with local organisations, associations and residents that adapts artistic content to each district's architectural and social context.
