TILT Festival

About

TILT is the UK's premier annual aerial dance, circus and physical theatre festival held each July at West Midlands Circus Centre in Birmingham's Cultural Quarter. Produced by RoguePlay Theatre since around 2015, TILT offers week-long masterclasses, seminars, networking events and performances from internationally renowned artists. The festival is dedicated to inclusive aerial practice, particularly championing marginalised voices and underrepresented women in circus arts. Programming includes workshops in silks, rope, straps, hoop and acrobatics alongside evening performances, family-friendly shows, and the TILT Aerial Dance Film Festival. TILT welcomes all skill levels from beginners to professionals and all ages, and operates under a sustainability commitment as part of RoguePlay's 'Nothing New' strategy to be zero waste.
