About
Titirimundi International Puppet Theatre Festival is one of Spain's leading festivals dedicated to puppetry and object theatre, and a major international meeting point for artists, professionals and audiences. Founded in Segovia in 1985, the festival takes place every May, transforming the city into a large stage that spans theatres, cultural venues, streets, squares, historic courtyards and gardens. Its programme brings together companies from Spain and abroad, presenting both traditional puppet forms and experimental, visual and object theatre. Titirimundi programmes for diverse audiences, including children, young people and adults, and complements its artistic programme with workshops, exhibitions, educational projects and professional encounters. Beyond Segovia, the festival reaches towns and villages across the province, bringing professional performing arts to rural communities.
