About
B-FIT in the Street! is the Bucharest International Street Theatre Festival, held in the Romanian capital since 2008. It is organised by the Bucharest City Hall through ARCUB, the Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Bucharest. The festival turns the city centre into an open-air stage, with performances in streets and squares across the capital. The programme includes street theatre, large-scale productions, aerial acrobatics, live music, roaming shows, live installations and giant fantastic characters, performed by companies from several European countries. Performances are spread across public spaces in central Bucharest, such as University Square, the Historical Centre, Victory Avenue, George Enescu Square and Revolution Square. The festival is aimed at the general public, including local residents and tourists.
