A festival celebrating contemporary performing arts from and about Africa, featuring theatre, dance, spoken word, and visual art. The festival explores the theme of belonging through works by artists from North Africa and the North African diaspora in the Netherlands. The programme examines questions of identity, diaspora, decolonization, and cultural connection, questioning how North African countries are positioned within African identity versus Arab identity. Through performances by artists from Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, South Africa, Ivory Coast, and the Netherlands, the festival investigates how individuals feel connected to place, community, and cultural identity.
