BôFest is a music and immersive arts festival held in the village of Vilares da Vilariça, in the Trás-os-Montes region of Portugal, born from the earlier Festival Circ'Bô, which revived the local tradition of itinerant circus known as "Circo vai às Aldeias". What began as a celebration of contemporary circus has evolved into a movement of cultural and social regeneration, now blending electronic music, immersive art and territorial experience. The festival's mission centres on promoting artistic diversity, social cohesion and rural vitality, transforming a small rural village into a seasonal creative hub for local and visiting audiences, including returning emigrant families.
