Cirkul'art is Slovakia's only international contemporary circus festival, held annually in May over three days in Bratislava. The festival features innovative circus productions using narrative storytelling combined with theatrical techniques and street art, attracting performers from 40+ countries. It offers interactive workshops in circus disciplines including acrobatics, juggling, aerial arts, and physical comedy alongside live performances. Since its founding around 2012, the festival has grown to showcase over 800 performances to 120,000+ spectators, establishing itself as Europe's premier platform for new circus exploring contemporary artistic expression.
