Mesto žensk: one of the oldest festivals with thirty years of development, presenting feminist art across genres and disciplines. The festival celebrates feminist joy as a transformative and political act—not escapism, but radical joy connected to persistent mutual care, meaning, and faith in the world's beauty despite its problems. Joy is framed as an act of defiance and resistance against despair, capitalist appropriation, surveillance, and activist burnout. The festival remains committed to interdisciplinarity, transmitting feminist ideas, sensitivities, and methods through diverse genres and media, while featuring international guests and artists whose works demonstrate that existence remains worthwhile amid chaos.
