Helium International Contemporary Circus Festival
Vilnius, Lithuania
About
Helium is the first international contemporary circus festival in Lithuania, held in Vilnius and presenting works by renowned foreign contemporary circus companies alongside circus creators from the Baltic States. Organised since 2005, the festival has introduced Lithuanian audiences to the contemporary circus genre through a diverse international programme, while actively supporting the development of local circus artists through platform opportunities for young creators. Helium also runs educational workshops and seminars open to professionals and anyone interested in contemporary circus, and operates year-round activity between festival editions through its "Helium presents" programme.
