International Two Sides of the Coast Culture Festival

An annual celebration of shared cultural heritage of the Aegean, jointly organized by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Bodrum Municipality. The festival brings together communities from both sides of the Aegean Sea to promote intercultural dialogue, strengthen local diplomacy, and foster cooperation between Türkiye and Greece. It features concerts, traditional music and folk dance performances, exhibitions, gastronomy events, workshops, and cultural talks. Municipal representatives and cultural delegations from Greek islands including Kos, Nisyros, Patmos, Lipsi, Leros, and Kalymnos participate annually. Organized in open public spaces with free access, the festival celebrates cultural diversity, mutual understanding, friendship, peace, and positions the Aegean Sea as a bridge connecting people and traditions rather than a border.
