An international performing arts festival dedicated to contemporary theatre, dance, performance and visual arts, taking place in Brussels during three weeks in May. The festival supports both established and up-and-coming artists with bold artistic work rooted in today's world, inviting artists from around the globe to present diverse practices and perspectives. Programming includes around thirty artistic projects presented across approximately twenty venues including theatres, cultural centres, museums and public spaces. The festival stimulates debate and dialogue through a temporary Free School dedicated to sharing knowledge and artistic practices, and hosts initiatives connecting students, associations, performing arts professionals and audiences. Since 1994, it has encouraged mobility between audiences, cultures and neighbourhoods while reflecting the diversity of Brussels.
