About
MABOULE is an international festival of contemporary puppetry, object theatre and associated arts, organised annually since 2014 by TOF Théâtre and Le Monty in Genappe, Belgium. The programme combines newly created work and shows by established artists with pieces by emerging companies from Belgium, France and other countries, performed indoors and outdoors across venues and streets in Genappe. The festival also showcases artists previously hosted in residence by TOF Théâtre, offering a platform for the early stages of the creative process. MABOULE aims to highlight the dynamism and diversity of puppetry and the associated arts, supporting both the transmission of these popular art forms and the development of new artistic voices in the sector.
