Romanian Drama Festival (FEST-FDR)
Timișoara, Romania
About
An annual theatre festival organized by The National Theatre in Timișoara with support from the Ministry of Culture and Timisoara City Hall. As a member of the European Festivals Association since 2012, it is the only platform dedicated to contemporary Romanian theatre in a European context. The festival aims to place the Romanian dramatic phenomenon within the European theatrical movement and showcases new Romanian drama while promoting young Romanian creators. It explores diversity through performing arts and serves as a strategic platform for integrating Romanian theater into the modern European theatrical landscape.
