About
The Society of the Spectacle is an international theatre festival held in Iasi, Romania, gathering artists and theatre companies from around the world to explore the growing theatricality of contemporary society. The festival's programming reflects on the shift in human social organisation from "being" to "having" and, more recently, to "appearance", using theatre as a lens for examining this transformation.
