About
Moments de Cirque is an annual contemporary circus festival launched in 2022 and now expanded across three Wallonian cities: Liège, Marchin, and Namur. Organized by Latitude 50 (a recognized scenic center) in partnership with regional theaters, it showcases about a dozen international and Belgian companies over a week. The festival emphasizes création circassienne contemporaine through work-in-progress productions, world premieres, and established shows featuring acrobatics, aerial work, juggling, contortion, and other disciplines. A dedicated professional day facilitates exchanges among artists, producers, and programmers. The Latitude 50 venue itself is notable as an ecological circus with permanent infrastructure built to support year-round artist residencies.
