Wortwiege Festival
Wiener Neustadt, Austria
About
The Wortwiege Festival showcases a spectrum of content-rich and unique theatrical forms in the historic Kasematten of Wiener Neustadt. Under the artistic direction of Anna Luca Krassnigg, it combines compelling storytelling—from classical works to contemporary drama—on stage with philosophical and scientific thought in a contemporary salon setting. In the impressive atmosphere of the historic fortification, theatre, literature, film, architecture, music and design converge. The SEA CHANGE Initiative supports international original productions, co-productions, guest performances and global partnerships.
